Named after the Dutch word for “flower,” BLOEM draws on floral forms to create an open, flowing silhouette defined by softness, lightness, and spatial openness. Developed through an ongoing process of making and testing with wool, BLOEM explores how knitted structure can form at scale.
Crafted from undyed Romney wool grown at Palliser Ridge Farm in the Wairarapa, each piece reflects a connection to Aotearoa’s rural landscape and a commitment to circular design, natural materials, and local craftsmanship. Designed and assembled by hand on Waiheke Island, and made in Aotearoa New Zealand.
