At Dwell, our qualified interior designer brings expert design knowledge and industry insight straight to your home.

  • We begin by understanding your needs—whether through photos, floor plans, or inspiration. A visit to your space helps us assess layout, light, colours, and existing elements. We’ll take notes, measurements, and photos to inform the design.

  • We craft a detailed plan tailored to your space:

    • Furniture layout and placement

    • CAD drawings with accurate sizing

    • Visual references and sketches

    • Material, fabric and finish selections

    • Itemised recommendations with pricing

  • In-store, we present:

    • The design rationale behind each choice

    • CAD layouts and furniture plans

    • Sample boards and colour palettes

    • A clear breakdown of estimated costs

  • Once you’re happy:

    • We prepare final drawings and documentation

    • Custom production schedules are confirmed

    • Supplier quotes are negotiated for the best value

  • We’ll coordinate delivery, installation, and styling if needed—bringing your space to life, exactly as planned.

Design Fee

  • $100 per hour (incl. GST)

  • For every $1,000 spent on furniture, one hour of design fees is credited back to your invoice

  • Credits valid for up to 6 months after your final consultation

  • Design fees are non-refundable if no product order is placed

  • All time spent—whether on-site or at Dwell—is chargeable

Time Guide

  • Site visit: 1–1.5 hours

  • Design preparation: ~2 hours

  • Presentation & discussion: ~1 hour

Ordering & Payments

  • Quotes valid for 14 days

  • Invoices due within 7 days

  • 50% deposit required to confirm orders

  • Payments accepted via bank transfer, cash, debit or credit card
